SWB Series WOOD BURNING SYSTEM
SYSTEM DESIGN The SWB Series Wood Burning System is an industrial grade wood fuel burning system that can be applied to all types of wood burning applications. Due to the SWB Series Wood Burning System's modular design, the system can be readily customized to meet a customer's specific requirements and can be expanded in the future by simply adding equipment modules to handle the additional types of wood fuel, all without the necessity of replacing any of the existing SWB Series Wood Burning System. Example: the existing SWB Series Wood Burning System burns Scrap Wood and Sawdust burning is to be added. In addition, the SWB Series Wood Burning System can be supplied as a stationary system or as a fully portable system. PERFORMANCE The SWB Series Wood Burning System is designed to extract the maximum amount of heat available from wood fuel. Many unique design features are incorporated into the SWB Series Wood Burning System for the sole purpose of controlling the wood fuel burning process precisely. The system is designed to produce a firing rate turn down ratio of 10:1 + which means the SWB Series Wood Burning System is ideal for controlling heat to processes. No other wood burning systems currently available can achieve this range of firing rate turndown ratios; most can only achieve a ratio range of 4-6:1. High firing rate turn down ratios are extremely important for controlling heat processes. There are no under fire grates or similar devices used in the SWB Series Wood Burning System. The reason for this is that under fire grates or similar devices tend to become blocked due to slagging and ash build up thus reducing the amount of combustion air mixing with the wood fuel which drastically effects the precise control of the wood fuel burning process. CONSTRUCTION The SWB Series Wood Burning System is constructed from steel plate, not sheet metal and alloy steel material is used extensively to ensure long system life. Only high grade refractory and insulation is utilized on the SWB Series Wood Burning System to insure that all metal temperatures stay well below their design ratings. The SWB Series Wood Burning System is designed for the elements and can be installed outside without the necessity of cover. All components utilized in the SWB Series Wood Burner System are rated heavy duty, from the hydraulic systems to the operating control components. All external electrical operating control components are N.E.M.A. 4 rated, all electric motors are T.E.F.C. rated, and all wiring is installed in ridged conduit and liquid tight flexible conduit. Even the paint utilized on the SWB Series Wood Burning System is industrial grade urethane based with high temperature coatings used where required. Operator and system operating safety always comes first and the SWB Series Wood Burning System incorporates numerous safety features into its design. From safety guards at the loading bin and on all moving components to emergency stop buttons installed at various locations throughout the system, operator and system operating safety is a priority. Operating control components have Factory Mutual (FM) approval and the burner systems comply with National Fire Protection Association (N.F.P.A.) code requirements. The SWB Series Wood Burning System's standard operating control system is designed to readily interface with many process control systems but can be custom designed for a customer's specific requirements. APPLICATIONS The SWB Series Wood Burning System is designed to burn Wood Pallets without the necessity of breaking them apart or chopping / grinding them before disposal. The labor and handling costs for preparing wood pallets for disposal is becoming extremely cost prohibitive, removal and transportation of wood pallets to disposal sites is rising due to fuel costs and the cost for electricity to operate chopping / grinding equipment is rapidly rising. The SWB Series Wood Burning System eliminates these costs by burning the complete wood pallet or stack of pallets on site. Simply load the Wood Pallets into the feeder bin and push the load button, the SWB Series Wood Burning System does the rest automatically. The SWB Series Wood Burning System can burn Scrap Wood and Bark Wood in the same way that it burns Wood Pallets. Simply load the Scrap Wood and / or Bark Wood into the feeder bin and push the load button, the SWB Series Wood Burning System does the rest automatically. The SWB Series Wood Burning System can burn Sawdust and Sanding Dust from plant operations. Load the Sawdust / Sanding Dust into the feeder bin, start the burner system and the SWB Series Wood Burning System will do the rest automatically. The SWB Series Wood Burning System can be designed to provide it's exhaust heat to Steam Boilers, Thermal Fluid Heaters, Hot Water Heaters, Air Heaters, Pallet Sterilizers, Ovens, and many other types of heat processes. The SWB Wood Burning System can be provided with various pollution control devices or systems to meet almost any environmental regulation or code requirements.
